Chris Sorensen is an influential figure in the music industry, known for his exceptional talent as the lead guitarist of FEAR NOT. His journey began at the age of 14, inspired by legendary artists such as Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Robin Trower, and Deep Purple. This passion for music propelled him to California, where he graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology at Hollywood’s Music Institute.
During his time performing with the band "Showdown," Chris crossed paths with Larry Worley and contributed to the formation of FEAR NOT. Seeking new opportunities, he later moved to Nashville, where his career flourished.
Chris has shared the stage with renowned artists, including 38 Special, Nazareth, The Kentucky Headhunters, Jackal, Ron Keel, Steeler, Tiffany, Jared Weeks, Jared Blake, Trailer Choir, Chris Kirkpatrick, Nashville Cartel, and Leslie West. His extensive experience also includes touring and performing with prominent acts like Music Mafia, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, James Otto, Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, and Brett Michaels.
In addition to his impressive performance skills, Chris is a highly proficient songwriter, widely recognized for his distinct guitar prowess and his remarkable ability to craft unforgettable and memorable hooks that linger in the minds of listeners.
